Towers 505

Towers 505 Towers 505 places you facing a winding orange path that you must lock down with defenses before waves of monsters reach your main tower. From the first seconds, you observe the terrain from above, with its green lawns, brown trees and stone ramparts, then you spend your gold coins to erect your first towers. A wooden crossbow tower may suffice at the start, but the pressure rises quickly, as creatures arrive relentlessly from a purple rift and advance in increasingly dangerous groups. You do not just place structures, you must also choose the right location, reinforce what still holds, and watch what overflows. When a line breaks, the sense of urgency sets in immediately. Throughout a game, each wave forces you to reassess your priorities. Some enemies crawl on the ground and soak hits while others, faster white flying monsters, disrupt your entire organization and force you to adapt your towers' coverage. You alternate between building, upgrading and using magical powers triggered at the right moment, such as a fireball to clear a clogged passage or a breath of frost to slow a critical breakthrough. The interface constantly gives you useful markers, with the total gold, the number of enemies eliminated marked by a skull and especially your reserve of ten lives, which melts away when an adversary crosses your defenses. If everything collapses, the failure screen sends you back to the next attempt, but each try refines your reading of the terrain and your sense of anticipation. Your turn to play! Enjoy!
