Star Paws
On each level of Star Paws, small space creatures are placed on a grid, each facing a specific direction, and you must slide them to the star portal. During play, you first observe the layout, then you choose which animal to launch first, because it moves straight and only stops upon contact with a wall, the edge, or a companion placed on its trajectory. Very quickly, you understand that nothing is left to chance, since a poorly anticipated move can block a passage, move a creature away from the portal, or deprive another of a useful stop. The pleasure comes precisely from reading the terrain, from those small trials that transform a muddled level into a clear solution. The more you finish a board with few actions, the more stars you earn, which makes you want to replay a puzzle to optimize it.
Progression then takes you through three distinct worlds, Astro, Africa and Forest, with one hundred levels in each and an atmosphere that renews the feeling of play without changing the central objective. As you progress, new traps and mechanisms complicate the sequences, forcing you to rethink your order of actions and to use every obstacle as a valuable support. When a situation resists, you can unlock boosters to get out of a bad spot, and the whole remains calm enough to leave room for thought rather than haste. At the same time, you also have the option to dress your astronaut hero and raise a companion, two small details that give a bit of life to your progress between puzzles. Each level then becomes a small logic challenge, simple to understand, but satisfying to master. Enjoy!
