Long Drive to Horizons Sim
You drive across an open desert in a solitary vehicle, aiming to go ever further despite wear, lack of resources and dangers encountered on the road. From the first moments, you move between the dunes, spot an abandoned camp in the distance, then get out to search the site for things to continue, mechanical parts, fuel, ammunition and various useful materials. The sense of progression comes as much from the journey as from resourcefulness, because each stop can improve your situation or, on the contrary, make you lose precious time. When your car begins to show weaknesses, you must understand what can be replaced, what deserves to be kept and what is better abandoned to quickly set off again toward the horizon.
Over the course of a session, you experience a succession of very concrete decisions. You can salvage parts from a wrecked caravan, explore a run-down garage to find a better component, then come back to gradually assemble a more reliable vehicle. The game allows you to modify the bodywork, the engine or the wheels to create a machine adapted to your way of moving forward. But nothing is ever completely certain, because maintenance remains essential and the smallest breakdown can immobilize you in the middle of nowhere. You must also handle confrontations when situations become tense, exploiting weapons and resources found during exploration. Between acceleration across empty expanses, meticulous repairs where every bolt counts and constant choices about what to carry, the adventure maintains a tense and changing pace. Enjoy!
