Crystalia
Crystalia places you in front of a colorful grid where each piece appears in the lower panel before being placed in the best spot. From the first seconds, you observe the incoming shape, you rotate it if necessary, then you look for an area capable of bringing together at least three blocks of the same color. When the alignment is created horizontally or vertically, the blocks disappear in a clean and very satisfying explosion, and your score immediately rises. The game quickly becomes absorbing, because each placement can set up a longer chain on the next turn. You therefore proceed between immediate reaction and a little anticipation, with this constant feeling of being able to turn an ordinary placement into a series of much more profitable clearings.
As the game progresses, the grid fills and the tension rises, because a bad decision can doom entire areas. You must avoid choking the board, keep corridors free to receive future pieces and build extended combinations that score more thanks to chains. Diagonals do not count, which forces you to read space precisely and to correct your habits if you play too fast. When space runs out, you can reset the situation with distinct aids, the bomb that destroys one block and all its neighbors, the laser that clears an entire row or column, and the shuffle that redistributes the blocks on the grid. The game ends as soon as no new piece can fit, then your score is automatically sent to the leaderboard to measure your performance. Enjoy!
